About
Jacob Murad is a lawyer, owner and operator of professional service firms as well as the managing partner and general counsel to BlueStar Equity, a private equity family office in Toronto. He has acquired law firms, small businesses and served as general counsel and director for a large number of private companies throughout Canada and was responsible for the negotiation of complex mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transaction.
He graduated top of his class from Western Michigan Cooley Law School, and received his Masters of Laws from the University of Toronto. Jacob was a professor of Business Law at Conestoga College, is a frequent writer for Law360 and a speaker for various legal associations and podcasts. He frequently acts as a mentor and tutor for applicants under the Law Society of Ontario.
